A late Victorian 18ct gold, ruby and diamond mounted circular cluster cross-over ring. The central oval ruby approximately 0.5cts claw-set within a surround of round old brilliant-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 0.5cts and between two smaller oval rubies in claw settings. The shank with hallmarks for 18ct gold, Chester 1899.
