Written valuations are carried out for:

    All items valued individually above the threshold required will be described in detail alongside a photograph of the item in your valuation document. A list of the remaining less valuable items will be included, providing a complete inventory of items assessed. All valuation documents are sent to you by email as password-protected PDF files. Printed paper documents can also be provided on request.

Written valuations are charged on an individual basis, taking into account the time taken and the importance of the items concerned. You will be advised how much your written valuation will cost during your initial enquiry. Our stated fees are be based on the insurance value of the items concerned, charged at 1.5% on the first £10,000 of value and 1% thereafter. Our fee to value large collections or individual items assessed at £20,000 or more is negotiable. All fees are subject to our stated minimum fee plus VAT at the prevailing rate.
