An emerald and diamond marquise cluster ring with a central emerald-cut emerald, 5.8mm long x 3.8mm wide, between pear-shaped emeralds, each 4.3mm long, pave-set within a marquise-shaped surround of graduated round old brilliant-cut diamonds and between diamond single-stone shoulders, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1.0cts, on a yellow gold shank inscribed inside ‘4689’ and ‘569’  ring size M, 4.1gms gross weight. Circa 1900.
