Notes
The crest is that of the PILKINGTON family of Park Lane Hall (or House) Yorkshire. The family were originally of Rivington, Lancashire where they were considered to be of considerable antiquity. Very little is known of the family at Park Lane Hall today however there is reference to a collection of pedigrees purchased in 1905 by the Norfolk Record Office, they identify Henry PILKINGTON (1787-1859) of Park Lane Hall Yorkshire.
