An early 19th century tortoiseshell tea caddy of domed rectangular form with white metal and ivory stringing, the panelled rounded top lid with an applied white metal canted rectangular vacant tablet, the front with a corresponding rectangular escutcheon, the divided interior with detachable covers with turned ivory knopped handles, on white metal ball feet,
13.5cm high, 15cm wide, 9cm deep
