Description

An early 20th century gold and garnet mounted fringe necklace with 21 bright circular rhodolite garnets graduated from 4.5mm diameter to 6.0mm diameter, suspending oval stones graduated from 5.0mm long to 8.5mm long in ‘spectacle’ frame settings on a twisting curb-link chain with barrel-shaped clasp, 38.5cm long, 12.5gms gross weight.
Probably Ceylon, circa 1910.
