A natural baltic amber bead, antique filigree gold bead and seed-pearl necklace. With eighteen oblong amber beads, graduated from 12mm long x 8.8mm wide to 21mm long x 14mm wide. The amber beads interspersed with clusters of seed-pearls and antique filigree gold beads, each approximately 8.8mm diameter. Secured to a 19th century plain gold clasp of oval section, 17mm long x 5.5mm wide.
Necklace is 87cm (34″) long overall, 50.8gms gross weight.

Together with a certificate from the Gemmological Certification Laboratory, Bond Street, London, stating that the ‘amber’ beads are natural resin, of Baltic origin and without signs of heating.
