Cornelian intaglio seal ring possibly the Roman Goddess Vesta. The oval cornelian 22mm long x 16mm wide depicting a female portrait, possibly that of the Roman Goddess Vesta. Signed ‘MAP * NOY’ in a rub-over setting with swivel fittings. The swivelling cornelian panel on a plain wire shank, probably late 19th century, 5.2gms gross weight.
