French ruby brooch.  with crescent of rubies and diamonds. With a central row of graduated round old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds between rows of oval rubies. The diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 0.45cts. The rubies estimated to weigh a total of 1.1cts. The brooch catch with French eagle head control mark, the pin with similar stamp and makers stamp ‘SS’. 55mm long overall, 7.5gms gross weight.
