An 18ct gold, platinum and half carat solitaire diamond ring circa 1945. This 1940s vintage solitaire diamond ring has a central round diamond approximately 5.2mm x 2.8mm and estimated to weigh 0.5cts. The art deco style shoulders each pave-set with four small single-cut diamonds. The yellow gold shank stamped ’18ct & Pt’. The principal half carat diamond is possibly H colour, I1 clarity. The I1 clarity grade suggested is a result of a surface breaking cavity with dark inclusion. Ring size Q.
