Diamond clip brooch. A platinum and diamond clip brooch of openwork scroll design. With round and pear-shaped old brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds in pave and rub-over settings. The largest pear-shaped diamond approximately 9.5mm long x 6.5mm wide x 3.0mm deep, estimated to weigh 1.2cts, possibly J/K colour, Si2 clarity, minor chip on girdle visible under close examination. The two smaller pear-shape diamonds each approximately 0.7cts, possibly J/K colour, Si1. The remaining old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 2.5cts, generally I/J, Si clarity. The baguette-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1.2cts, generally H colour, VS clarity. The total carat weight of diamonds is therefore estimated to be 6.4cts.
